Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training

 

Our course HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting is a comprehensive one day course that includes this Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, first aid and CPR certification. It may be more appropriate for your needs than a shorter or occasional course.

Rather than completing Anaphylaxis & Asthma Training as a separate component, then first aid then CPR we recommend you complete just one course which is an all in one course

Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting – Also Known as Childcare First Aid

 

Kids are not smaller adults there is a sizeable difference in how you treat them. HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting is a special course specifically designed for parents, people working in the childcare and early childhood learning industry or anyone like teachers, who work with kids. learn childhood treatment of specific first aid for kids especially anaphylaxis and asthma treatments as well as common injuries and resuscitation for children. The Australian Children’s Education & Care Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed HLTAID004 as meeting their requirements for anaphylaxis, asthma, and first aid training. It covers a lot more than 22282VIC – Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace and 22099VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

HLTAID007

Provide Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (also known as oxygen provider course)

 

This course will provide you with Advanced Resuscitation Techniques including the use of oxygen and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Although not required, it is generally recommended that participants complete our First Aid course and use this as additional or higher level training in oxygen equipment and specialist resuscitation techniques.

HLTAID006

Provide Advanced First Aid

 If you work in high risk workplaces or who respond to first aid situations on a regular basis then you should consider Advanced First Aid training. This course includes skills on casualty assessment, triage, spinal injury management and stretchers. Completed usually over three days, this extensive first aid course is very hands on and offers you the ability to gain a greater depth of knowledge and practical experience over a wide range of trauma, medical and emergency situations.

Occupational First Aid

 

This is usually a four day program is suitable for those needing workplace approved occupational first aid training or for those who just want to gain the extra skills and knowledge to provide a higher level of first aid care.

Manage First Aid Services and Resources

 

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace. The unit applies to workers in nominated occupational first aid or management roles.
