What First Aid course should I choose?

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid formally called HLTAID003 the nationally recognised first aid qualification and as a fully accredited registered training organisation RTO 45284 we deliver it. It does not matter if your current first aid certificate has expired or you are new to first aid training. Simply enrol in the one comprehensive training course on a date that suits you. Courses are run through our venues every week.

What if my current First Aid certificate is expired?

This course covers all you need to know about first aid and gives you a first aid certificate valid for 3 years. This first aid course is suitable for people with or without a current first aid certificate or if you are seeking a refresher training course because your first aid certificate is about to expire or has recently expired, also known as Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid or Level 2 Workplace First Aid or refresher first aid)

All accredited first aid organisations like International Paramedic College based in the northern rivers of NSW or National organisations like St John, Red Cross, surf lifesaving, and Austswim and the Australian Resuscitation Council recommend refreshing First aid skills every 3 years.

We discount the price but not the quality

With our cheap or discount pricing we do not routinely post out hard copies of certificates but they are available on request. Additional charges may apply to cover postage and delivery as indicated on the home page of our website.

9.30am – 2.30 pm (We ask that you arrive 20 minutes early)

Is parking available at the venue?

Parking is freely available at our venue. Salvation Army – Entry and parking available via Holden Lane rear of 73 Tamar Street Ballina NSW 2478

What you need to bring along on the day of your first aid training

Lunch if you like

A form of identification

Your Unique Student Identifier Number (USI)

Pen and note paper

Are there any prerequisites to learn first aid?

While there are no pre-requisite for this course, you will need to have sufficient English language skills to complete the competency-based first aid training.

You will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level which includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for two minutes.

If you have reduced mobility or a current injury that may make this difficult, please call and discuss this with us before booking.

Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. Please download and complete the form. You can submit it by email before your training day or hand it to your trainer before commencing training.
