This accredited course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to an electrical emergency using a low voltage rescue kit and perform CPR on a casualty who has stopped breathing. Suitable for electricians needing a cpr/lvr certificate for work. Anyone interested in attending a cpr/lvr class should consider booking into Low Voltage Rescue Training in conducted at one of our Ballina Lismore or Alstonville training centres. Refresher low voltage rescue (LVR) courses are available regularly at our Ballina training center. What do I need to bring along to your first aid training day
- Lunch if you like
- A form of identification
- Your Unique Student Identifier Nuber (USI)
- Pen and note paper
Are there any prerequisites to learning?
While there are no pre-requisites for this course, you will need to have sufficient English language skills to complete the competency-based first aid training. You will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level which includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for two minutes. You will be required to use a crook and drag a manakin away from a simulated LV Panel incident. If you have reduced mobility or a current injury that may make this difficult please call and discuss this with us prior to booking. Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. Please download and complete the form. You can submit it by email prior to your training day or hand it to your trainer prior to commencing training.
