Low Voltage Rescue Courses LVR/CPR

UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel LVR/CPR Course Ballina Lismore Grafton Yamba

This accredited course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to an electrical emergency using a low voltage rescue kit and perform CPR on a casualty who has stopped breathing. Suitable for electricians needing a CPR/LVR certificate for work. Anyone interested in attending a CPR/LVR class should consider booking into Low Voltage Rescue.

If you want training for your crew in your workplace click here for details or contact us to discuss your specific needs. We will come to you and deliver the training on-site.

All accredited first aid organisations like International Paramedic College based in the northern rivers of NSW or National organisations like St John, Red Cross, surf lifesaving, and Austswim and the Australian Resuscitation Council recommend refreshing First aid skills every 3 years and CPR/LVR every 12 months.

LVR/CPR refresher training should be undertaken every year as per the Electrical Safety Regulation 2014 QLD. Our comprehensive student management system will remind you a month before your LVR/CPR certificate is due to be refreshed.

What times are your CPR/LVR courses?

Our course runs from 8.30 am – 11.00 pm

What do I need to bring along to your first aid training day

Are there any prerequisites to learning?

While there are no prerequisites for this course, you will need to have sufficient English language skills to complete the competency-based first aid training.

You will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level which includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for two minutes. You will be required to use a crook and drag a manikin away from a simulated LV Panel incident.

If you have reduced mobility or a current injury that may make this difficult, please call and discuss this with us before booking.

Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. Please download and complete the form. You can submit it by email before your training day or hand it to your trainer before commencing training.
