What is the HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and Resources course?

HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and Resources is a nationally recognised unit for the person who looks after first aid across a workplace, not just the person who responds when someone gets hurt. It covers how to work out what first aid your site needs, set up and maintain kits and facilities, keep accurate records and review how an incident was handled.

The unit is part of the HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set, alongside HLTAID011, HLTAID014 and HLTAID015. It replaced HLTAID008, so if your employer still asks for the old code, HLTAID016 is the current equivalent.
